Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

Our promise to you

Postpartum Plus was built with one belief: your most personal data should stay yours. We designed the app to keep your information on your device whenever possible, and we are transparent about the very few cases when it doesn't.

Information stored on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers: baby birth date, baby name, baby weight and height, mood check-ins, fitness preferences, dietary preferences, breastfeeding status, journal entries, feeding logs, sleep logs, diaper logs, and any photos you add. We never see this data, and it never leaves your phone unless you back it up via your device's standard cloud backup (iCloud), which you control.

Information shared with third parties

The AI Advice feature uses the Anthropic Claude API. When you ask the AI Advice Hub a question, the text of your question is sent to Anthropic's servers solely to generate a response. We do not send your name, baby's name, logs, photos, or any other personal data with these requests. Anthropic is bound by their own privacy terms and does not use API content to train their models.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
  • We do not run advertising or share data with advertisers.
  • We do not use tracking cookies (we're an app, not a website).
  • We do not require an account, email, or password to use Postpartum Plus.

Deleting your data

Because all of your personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete every trace of it by deleting the app. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Children's privacy

Postpartum Plus is intended for adults. The app is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

GDPR (EU/UK users)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because your personal data is stored locally, these rights are exercised by managing the app on your device. For any AI question text sent to Anthropic, you may contact us to request information about that processing.

CCPA (California users)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Postpartum Plus does not sell personal information. Local data may be deleted by removing the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
